what brought you to NYC?
The rats. JK! Hehe – I found that I wanted to live in a place where I could walk everywhere and feel the heart of the city. I also wanted to perform comedy and have people listen to my sad and sometimes funny jokes. NYC makes me sad almost weekly because of the hustle and the feeling of never being enough in the city! However, the beauty of the city and the Dunkin’s on every street keeps me here. I’ve been doing comedy since I was 18 when a bar in Scottsdale let me do weird standup if I didn’t buy alcohol. Comedy, like NY, has been extremely up and down - one day you’re performing for 300 people and the next day you’re in the back of a punk rock bar telling your sad jokes to 1 person and a bartender.
what’s the last thing you wrote in your notes app?
I always keep a running list of things I want to talk about in therapy, jokes I am thinking of at the moment, which will later turn into tweets that get 2 likes and then a running list of bars I want to visit. It also includes a list of workouts that I stole from TikTok and streaming account logins that my friends have sent me.
😈 what’s your toxic trait?
Chronic Irish Goodbye-r – one minute I am there and the next minute I am gone. Don’t worry I will always text to say how much fun I had at the event.
Will never turn down the opportunity to rally. I love to relax and I love to party and I love to have one-on-one time – however if the group wants to stay out until 4 am, all I need is a red bull and a bop and I will be out until the sun comes up.
🥵 what makes you hot?
I will troubleshoot your parent’s computer. I find that I am calm in a lot of situations–my mom calls me to ask about the router password weekly and I am great with parents.
