now for this week’s hot single… he goes all in when it comes to trying new things, and when it comes to love, he doesn’t have to speak the same language to feel it for his fellow earthlings. he’s looking for a girl who can do both (absurdity and pragmatism… aren’t we all!) this fine winemaker crushes grapes, but could he also crush on you?
stay hot 🥵

I started fermenting things during the pandemic and this led me to natural wine. When I really like something, I go all in. I bought and processed 100 lbs of grapes that are now aging in a bathtub. I found opportunities to get into a vineyard to understand how grapes are grown. I’m always impressed with how nice everyone is. Makers started recognizing me at natural wine bars and pop up tastings. I’m convinced that pouring someone a glass of wine that you made yourself is one of the most generous gestures. Natural wine can be very experimental so I’ve tried some new, funky wines and I’ve also tried wine that had the texture of snot.
what is your most treasured memory?
Celebrating Eid with Syrian and Kurdish families in a Greek farming village where I was teaching at a makeshift school. It was well over 100°F and there was a nonstop line of kids who wanted to dance on my shoulders to Carly Rae Jepsen. Someone had been keeping a goat in the laundry room and I think it ended up in the kebabs that a grandma kept piling on my plate. There were all kinds of people from all over the world celebrating together that day. I think we’d all be better off if everyone experienced the joy of celebrating with a group of people who don’t speak your language.
😈 what’s your toxic trait?
I’ll say “yes” to anything twice and think Nickelback are great musicians.
🥵 what makes you hot?
Through some combination of luck and will, I accomplish what I set out to do. If I want to do something, I do it.
My friends ask me to play guitar at their weddings
I’ve been on billboards and movie screens
I had a great time during jury duty
I’m always down to try or learn something new
🔎 who are you looking for?
A great date who can balance her appreciation for absurdity and pragmatism
Someone who’s down to create new cocktails on my roof this summer and check things out on the skint
Someone who also likes to drive barefoot while listening to Taylor Swift
