what’s the best interaction you’ve had with a stranger?
I was in Maine with some friends last summer and we ended up at a dive bar with all the locals. I ditched all of my friends and sat at the bar and met an old man, probably in his 70s, who called himself Buffalo Bob. We ended up sitting and talking at that bar for 2 hours while he told me the most outrageous stories that were definitely not true but I let him prattle on to see what he would come up with. He told me he produced music for the Ramones; dated the bar owner (who was a woman in her 30s) and biked to the bar, but was going to take his boat to get home.
what is one thing on your bucket list?
I’m desperately trying to go to Tokyo. Since I was around 12, I’ve been dreaming of visiting for an extended period of time, it's a really special place for my family. My mom and dad lived in Tokyo for 2 years while they were dating, and a month or so before they left they spontaneously got married. I’m also obsessed with japanese food- not sushi though, I think it’s overrated. I’m talking more izakaya style food. I want to have that authentic, Anthony Bourdain-esque experience in an izakaya, sitting at the bar, striking up a conversation with a random old man next to me and letting the chef serve me whatever. Also, low key an anime fan, so it’d be pretty surreal for me to go to the anime hub of the world.

Purely doing things “for the plot” without thinking about the consequences.
🥵 what makes you hot?
Will drag you on spontaneous adventures. Said adventures range from long bike rides to newly opened bakeries and restaurants, taking the ferry to IKEA (I’ve never been I’m dying to go) and playing hide and seek to booking a last minute trip to Alaska just bc its beautiful and we have to get out of the city.

I want a guy who is goofy and adventurous yet can be empathetic and intellectual. I want someone who will challenge me and someone who wants to have deep, philosophical conversations about societal shifts and the pursuit of happiness.
