what is your best personal quality?
Iām curious. This shows up at work in my creative field, where my interviewing skills come in handy. People really open up to me. When weāre on a date, Iāll ask you a lot of questions about your life, the things youāre passionate about, what makes you tick. My interest and engagement are genuine, and Iāll listen to your answers with open-mindedness and zero judgement. (Time = precious! Who has time for faking interest?) My endless curiosity also means I will try new things with wholehearted enthusiasm. Recent endeavors include: rock climbing, learning Italian, and knitting slippers.
whatās the last thing you wrote in your notes app?
Iām throwing a big birthday bash next month for my 30th. Itās going to be a full-on rooftop disco eleganza, so I hired my favorite DJ in the city and am requesting a mix of disco classics, deep cuts, genre-adjacent bops, and the occasional 90s sing along. The last thing I wrote in my notes app is a list of songs I want to request - nothing too obscure, but I didnāt want to forget them as theyāre *just too groovy*. They include āSound and Visionā by Bowie, āLove Hangoverā by Diana Ross, and āRasputinā by Boney M. What would you suggest I add?

I know I just went on and on about how open-minded I am but in all honesty I CAN get on my high horse and be self-righteousā¦ and perhaps even too vocal about my convictions here and there (i.e. what we get wrong about Latino voters, or what youāre getting wrong about your homemade pie dough). HOWEVERā¦ my curiosity for new information and perspectives means Iām always open to changing my mind.Ā
